Waving Lace Socks from Interweave Knits knit with (either Fleece Artist or Handmaiden? I can't remember!)

Happy feet.

We've started a stitch n' bitch through my school, and while I completely forgot to take any photos of the stitching, knitting and felting going on at my place last Sunday, I did take a picture of my fresh olive basil bread. I don't think I had made bread in about five years, and I was just so happy that it actually rose!

And of course, I have more ongoing experiments...

Which now include wire and knitting.

And ocassionally, merely an obsession with studying knitted stitches.

Great idea to have an snb at your school.
And that bread! It is making my mouth water!

I have put my wire pursuits on hold until I get the baby blanket off of the loom. The baby intended has arrived a few weeks early so now I am really behind!

Happy weaving!

Lovely socks, delicious bread! I haven't tried knitting with wire yet. Did I just say YET?

Your socks are beautiful and the bread is making me feel very hungry.

Lovely! Both the socks and the bread. I have a friend in England who knits with fine wire. It is interesting to see that you are experimenting with it too.
