The Dessert Salad

I say dessert because the strawberries, goat cheese and pecans all together are decadent. I have even served this as a last course when I've had friends for dinner.
  • Fresh Strawberries
  • Goat cheese
  • Pecans (pan roasted in in honey for about three minutes)
  • Greens (Spinach, mixed, arugula, whatever you like)
  • A simple dressing, like olive oil and balsamic vinegar
Quill Lace Socks

These socks are the most relaxing knit ever. What could be better than a two row repeat that doesn't contain the world purl?

My friend Dahlia Milon finished my scarf (which was in exchange for the socks in my previous post).

It's beautiful and I love it. She makes all her scarves using a knitting machine and then felts them and is something of a genius in her techniques. They are very sculptural and organic.

I see trees in my near future.

Lots and lots of little trees.

Strawberries and goat cheese together? Those 2 alone make me happy! And I love that scarf, it's gorgeous!

And that salad looks delicious. I'm so sad I'm not supposed to eat nuts anymore, I love them so...
