I decided to forgo the fringe. It just didn't seem to need it, or would have seemed to fussy. The yarn is already so extravagent to begin with.
As expected, the poncho has already been appropriated by another member of this household for a far more important purpose than keeping me warm.
Okay. I admit it. This item was never actually for me. The yarn screamed 'kittens will love me,' and that was that. Birthday poncho? Nahhhh. Who was I kidding?

So typical, though, that the cats have already appropriated it. What is it with cats and lying on things?! Mine are the same - let anything lie around and they will sit on it... :)
Love the colors! I bet it will look awesome and feel just as good with a pair of jeans or a little black dress.
My cats love the yarn too but only the ones that I want them to stay off of most. Why is that? :-)
